Purpose:
The purpose and scope of this committee is to provide leadership for “green” initiatives and promote environmental sustainability in the University Libraries.
Charge:
- Solicit ideas from PSUL employees on how the University Libraries can create a more responsible environment and facilitate implementation
- Identify current “green” activities in the Libraries and University
- Identify resources
- Develop, create, establish a Green PSUL website that integrates all things green at all the Libraries
- Link to other “green” initiatives at OPP, ITS, etc.
- Breakdown initiatives into categories of: water, electrical, waste management, and other.
