Membership: Dace Freivalds, Mike Furlough, Lisa German, Andrea Harrington, Linda Klimczyk, Mairéad Martin, Kimlyn Patishnock, and Jack Sulzer

Purpose:  IT Coordination and Communication is a Libraries' group under the Dean of University Libraries and Scholarly Communications that provides coordination of and communication about IT initiatives. The group is composed of members from the University Libraries and Digital Library Technologies (a division of the University's Information Technology Services.)

Charge:
To coordinate Information Technology activities in the Libraries and to communicate their progress and outcomes to IT and Libraries staff. 

Examples of work:

  • Tactical planning – e.g., Tactical plan for public computing, etc.
  • Establishment of a project portfolio
  • Determine resource allocation
  • Refer issues to IT Strategies as appropriate

 

Difference between this group and IT Strategies:
IT Strategies – strategic and sets priorities; ITCC coordinates the work
