When an employee gives notice of resignation or retirement, a supervisor should immediately notify the Libraries Human Resources office and send a copy of the employee’s resignation letter. LHR will then work with the employee to go over what needs to be done prior to his/her departure. LHR will also send an email to a group of individuals responsible for various accesses, notifying them of the employee’s last date of work. Attached to this email will be a check-list of required items to take care of prior to his/her last day of work. Please note that both the email and checklist may vary depending on the employees' classification and/or location.
