The Interinstitutional Consortium for Indigenous Knowledge, known as ICIK, is located at The Pennsylvania State University. ICIK is part of a global network comprised of more than 20 indigenous knowledge resource centers in North and South America, Europe, Asia, Africa and Oceania. ICIK is the only currently-active indigenous knowledge resource center located in the United States.

CED 497C : Exploring Indigenous Ways of Knowing among the Ojibwe

 

Taught by Dr. Bruce Martin, adjunct instructor for the College of Agricultural Sciences at Penn State, CED 497C is an award-winning cultural engagement and educational seminar that will help students explore and understand the worldview of the Ojibwe (also known as the Anishinaabeg), one of the largest aboriginal communities in North America.
