Interlibrary Loan

To request a book (loan):

All eligible faculty, staff and students can request books owned by the Penn State Libraries (all campus locations), as well as books not owned by Penn State.

Books owned by Penn State:

• Search the CAT
• Click on the I Want It Button
• Enter your Access User ID and Password
• Select World Campus from the pickup location list
• Click on Place Hold
• Loans will be listed on your My Library Account
• Refer to Policies for loan periods, delivery and returning material

Books not owned by Penn State - use EZ-Borrow:

• Logon to E-ZBorrow
• Select Searching/Requesting
• Choose World Campus as the Pickup Location
• Loans will be listed on your My Library Account
• Refer to Policies for loan periods, delivery and returning material

Books not owned by Penn State - Use ILLiad:

• Logon to ILLiad.
• Select Request a Loan
• To avoid receiving a book no longer needed, indicate correct date "Not Wanted After Date" - default is 1 month
• Loans will be listed on your ILLiad account
• Refer to Policies for loan periods, delivery and returning material
