A bust of Fred Lewis Pattee stands beside the doors to the Leisure Reading room, near the Central entrance to Pattee Library. The bust and accompanying plaque were donated in 1956 to the Libraries by the Class of 1911, to commemorate the career of the author of Penn State's alma mater and one of Penn State's great early teachers.
More information and a biography of Fred Lewis Pattee from the PA Center for the Book.
