Penn State University Libraries - Scanners

In Pattee-Paterno Libraries, scanners are located in:

• Social Sciences Library (2 scanners)

• Knowledge Commons
  
• Music and Media Center

Most branch libraries also have a scanner station. A Penn State ID and password is required to use these workstations.

A free slide scanner is available in the News and Microforms Library.

There are two departments that can scan slides for a fee:

• Digitization and Preservation, University Libraries
• Department of Agricultural Engineering

Student Computing Labs. Scanners are available in most labs. See locations, hours, and other helpful information here.

Engineering Copy Center. Offers a wide variety of services to faculty, staff, and students, including scanning and large-format printing. Detailed information. Hours are 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday.

Document Services. Offers high-resolution, flatbed black and white, full-color reflective, and 35mm slide image scanning for quality printing and can provide JPEG or GIFF file formats for Web page design.

ScanJet 3C Color Scanner. Faculty, staff, and students can reserve this language-translation scanner located in  214 Computer Building, (814-865-4757). Hours are 9am to 5pm Monday through Friday.
