I-Tech provides computer equipment and software to support the operations of the University Libraries with the following services:
- Lifecycle communication, planning and needs assessment
- Collaborate with library employees to identify hardware and software needs for staff computers
- Participate in Penn State bulk buy to obtain equipment at the best possible price
- Collaborate with DLT and ITS to develop the staff image
- Provide testing coordination and facilities for library staff to test new hardware, software and images
- Consultation on purchase of Non-standard software
- Management of the Libraries tangible asset process for library computer equipment
- Equipment loans to library employees (laptops, ipods, etc.)
