Wage Payroll and Work-Study Employment

Libraries Human Resources is responsible for maintaining a list of open positions available at the University Park library locations.  All open positions are posted on the Wage Payroll and Work-Study Employment website or can also be found at Libraries Human Resources Office, 511 Paterno Library, University Park, PA 16802. The University Libraries only accepts applications for posted positions. All other applications received will be discarded.

Faculty Positions

Librarians at Penn State have full faculty status.  Successful candidates will be expected to be active in research, scholarship and service as faculty members at Penn State.  Salary and rank are commensurate with experience.  Salaries are based upon experience, education, and position responsibilities.  Excellent fringe benefits include liberal vacation, excellent health/medical insurance, State or TIAA/CREF retirement options, and educational privileges.

Staff Vacancies

The University’s Office of Human Resources is responsible for maintaining a list of all available full-time staff vacancies.  Any staff positions in the University Libraries that are currently available would be posted on the Penn State Jobs site, www.psu.jobs. Please note that the University only accepts applications for posted positions, general applications are not accepted.
