Librarians at Penn State have full faculty status. Successful candidates will be expected to be active in research, scholarship and service as faculty members at Penn State. Salary and rank are commensurate with experience. Salaries are based upon experience, education, and position responsibilities. Penn State University Libraries hold membership in CIC, ARL, OCLC, and CRL. Collections exceed 5.3 million volumes, including more than 88,000 current serial subscriptions. The University Libraries are located at University Park and at each of the other 23 Penn State Campuses throughout the commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
