Course Reserve: Faculty may place items such as books, video/audio recordings, or other physical items on reserve at the library's circulation desk for student use. Contact Susan Stumpf at 610-285-5031 or via email at sms490@psu.edu.
Articles, selections from books, and links to external websites and files may be placed on electronic reserve, making the item accessible through The CAT and also through ANGEL. Contact Kathy Romig at 610-285-5151 or via email at ritabook@psu.edu.
iPads, Laptops and Macs: The library currently has fifteen Dell laptops and two Macbook Pros available at the Circulation desk for loan to current Penn State students for use anywhere on campus. All are configured for easy wireless access to the Penn State network and internet and have the standard Penn State software installed. These computers circulate for 6 hours at a time and students must present a current Penn State Student ID.
In addition, we have 5 iPads and 6 Dell laptops that may be borrowed for a week at a time.
Printing/Photocopying: All public computers in the library print to the network printer located next to the circulation desk. This printer makes single and double-sided, black-and-white prints. The photocopier is also located next to the circulation desk and copies are 10 cents each.
Research/Reference Assistance: If you would like help finding information or have a question about the library, please ask! The library staff provides assistance both in the library and online. For library research help, ask for Judy Mishriki in the library, email jkl1@psu.edu, or call 610-285-5028. The Penn State Virtual Reference Service, staffed by University Librarians, is also available online to answer questions about library resources.
Suggest an item for purchase: Current students, faculty and staff may recommend items that they would like to see added to our collection. Send your suggestions to Judy Mishriki at 610-285-5028 or via email at jkl1@psu.edu.
