New Library FAQ
Where are you?
Our new address is 2809 Saucon Valley Road, Center Valley, PA 18034. (Directions to campus)Our new second floor library will be completed for the Spring semester. Until then, students will find a welcoming place for quiet study, online research, and collaborative work in rooms 216 and 218 in the west wing of the second floor.

Where are all the books?
Our book collection will be in storage while the library is in its temporary quarters, however, students can easily order books, videos, music CDs, and other materials from the among 5 million items held by Penn State libraries across the system. Generally materials ordered will arrive within a few days. Once you are notified that your requested material has arrived, it may be picked up at the circulation desk in room 216.In addition, our library now offers over 100,000 books online and 500+ databases with online articles, encyclopedias, images, historical diaries, and many other types of information.
What do I do with materials that I have checked out?
If you still need the material, it may be renewed online or by phone. If you have exhausted your renewals, bring the material to the circulation desk in room 216 and, as long as no one else has a hold on the material, we will charge it back out to you. Materials that are no longer needed may be returned to the circulation desk in room 216.If there are no books, what is in the temporary library?
Library desktop and laptop computers can be used for research, writing papers, creating presentations, and various other tasks. The laptops may be checked out for 6 hour loans and used throughout our wireless campus.Two new collaborative workstations with wide-screen monitors have been added to 216 for group project work.
Current magazines and newspapers can be found in the front of room 216 along with our photocopier.
Our reference librarian, Judy Sandt, and our head librarian, Dennis Phillips may be consulted in room 218 for research assistance. Steph Derstine and Kathy Romig are available in room 216 for assistance with interlibrary loan, course reserves and circulation of materials.
Materials requested on interlibrary loan and items placed on course reserve by your instructors may be checked out at the circulation desk in room 216.
