Includes information on new trends and developments in the industry. This is a Pennsylvania State University, College of Agricultural Sciences site.

Mycological Society of America - the MSA is a scientific society dedicated to advancing the science of mycology - the study of fungi of all kinds including mushrooms, truffles, yeasts, plant pathogens, and medically important fungi.

North American Mycological Association - the North American Mycological Association is an organization of individuals, families and local clubs dedicated to the study and enjoyment of mushrooms.

National Agricultural Statistics Service, Agricultural Statistics Board, U.S. Department of Agriculture - this annual full-text report presents data on area, production, volume of sales, price, value, and number of growers of mushrooms by variety (Agaricus and specialty types), type of production media, selected states and U.S.; utilization for U.S. and intentions for coming year.
