Only use the "Add Link to External Guide" button if you want to link courses or departments to a guide you have already created. Setting up an external link for a guide will replace what the faculty and students would normally see in the guide content with the content of the external site.
1. Log into ANGEL with your access account and id.
2. On the "My Profile" page, select the "Library Subject Guides" under the "My Toolbox" section.

If you do not not see this link, contact Helen Smith to become authorized to create library guides.
3. Click on "Create Guide."

4. Insert the title and description of the guide. Click "Save Title."

Click on "Add link to external guide."

Insert the complete URL (including http://) for the page to which you are linking
Complete the process with "Link a Guide to a Course."
