Library Learning Services

Reference and Information: Library Learning Services staffs the East, Central, and West Welcome Desks, as well as the Gateway Library reference service desk, to help library users find the library resources they need. Information Literacy librarians are available weekdays. Personnel are available at all hours the library is open to assist library users in their search for resources and information. Information is also provided by phone in the Gateway Library by calling 814-865-6368 or through AOL instant messaging (askpsu). Research mentoring and exam proctor services are also available from Library Learning Services.

Collection: Library Learning Services maintains the Leisure Reading collection. The collection is housed in the Reading Reserves room, 1st floor, West Pattee.

Instruction: Free classes are offered in Library Research Basics, RefWorks, and Endnote.

Tours: Library tours are offered when classes are in session (schedule).

Network Printing: Gateway computer lab users can print report-quality pages from the Library Workstations using the Classroom and Lab Computing Printing Services. Information about this service is available at the Classroom and Lab Computing - Printing Services page.
