PSU Mont Alto students, faculty, and staff may schedule an appointment with a librarian for one-on-one assistance in finding relevant information for research papers and other projects.
A research consultation may include instruction on how to use the University Libraries' online catalog and other online resources. Mont Alto librarians are also familiar with many of the class assignments that require use of the library.
In addition librarians can help with:
- Finding hard to find information (new and old books, magazines, newspapers, research journals, and more)
- Choosing the most relevant databases
- Improving a research strategy
- Critically evaluating information
- Citing sources properly

Appointments will generally be made Monday-Friday, though special arrangements for other times may be made by mutual agreement. Please use the link below to check availability. Appointments should be made at least 24 hours in advance.

Groups that are working on a single subject are welcome to meet with a librarian as a group. If a group has a similar, or same assignment, but different topics, each member should schedule an individual research appointment.
