It is the mission of Media & Technology Support Services (MediaTech) to provide leadership to the faculty, students, and staff, of Penn State in utilizing both existing and emerging technologies in the teaching and learning process. With the current educational trend towards student-centered learning, MediaTech must be proactive rather than reactive in providing technology and classroom design that more actively supports this form of pedagogy.
MediaTech must provide instructional support to the University community through its film and video collection, its classroom support services, its equipment repair service, and its technology-enhanced classroom design function.
