Where to Study on Campus

Quiet Study

Library – Individual study booths behind the books. Laptop plugs available.
Classrooms – 138 Science, 19 Engineering, and 008 Engineering are available for quiet study when not in use.

Coming Soon:

The campus is currently working on creating a Quiet Study Lounge on the lower level of the library, right off the computer center. It should be done by spring semester.

 

Group Study

Library – The central areas of the library have group study tables that seat 4-6, and one collaborative workstation that allows up to 6 people to plug in their laptops and project their work on two monitors for the whole group to see.

Student Life Meeting Room (Across from Student Life Office) – This conference room with whiteboard is available for use via drop-in or reservation: you can reserve using the sign on the door

Adult Learner Lounge – Located on the 1st level of the Administration building across from the ATM machine, the center is open weekdays/nights/weekends and contains an information display and resource library, round table with chairs for study groups, white board, a small desk with a network computer and printer, comfortable furniture, a small refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot.  No reservations are needed.

Conference room 16B in the Conference Center -- This small room is great for group study when it is not in use. It has 12 seats around a conference table and a whiteboard. Great for practicing group presentations. Please be aware that this room is frequently reserved for meetings and you may be asked to leave.

Student Success Center – Located on the lower level of the Student Union building, next to the Bookstore, right below Café 780, the Success Center has group study tables available any time they are open.

Cafe 780 Meeting Room  - This room is available when not reserved for meetings and features a large monitor you can plug laptops into and use for collaborative work.
