April 24: Libraries open late for study days


To accommodate end of semester study needs, Pattee and Paterno Libraries are open until 2 a.m. on most days starting April 29. The Study All Night area, on the first and ground floors of Pattee Library, will open for 24-hour service at noon on Sunday, April 26, and stay open until 7 p.m. on Friday, May 8. (This area also includes the computer lab.) The four branch libraries—Architecture and Landscape Architecture, Earth and Mineral Sciences, Engineering, and Physical and Mathematical Sciences Libraries— at University Park are open most nights, until 11 p.m. during this period. Mackinnon's Café hours will be posted on their door, or call 814-865-9380.

Another service added for the convenience and safety of students is the late-night CATA bus service. The Blue Loop and White Loop run until after just 2 a.m. April 29–May 8, with the additional hours sponsored by the University Libraries and Information Technology Services.

All libraries are closed on May 10. The hours for Pattee and Paterno Libraries for Intersession, Monday, May 11 through Sunday, May 17, are:
8 a.m. to 5 p.m., May 11–May 15
9 a.m.–5 p.m., May 16
1–9 p.m., May 17
