Free library research classes start soon
The Libraries are holding a series of classes this fall that will focus on a variety of library resources. The Library Research Basics seminars are free and open to students, staff, faculty and the public. Participants will learn how to search for materials in The CAT, the Libraries' online catalog, and via selected databases, including ProQuest. Classes are held in Gateway Lab, Pattee Library.
The schedule is as follows:
Wednesday September 23: noon-1:00 p.m.
Monday October 5: 3:00-4:00 p.m.
Tuesday October 20: 11:00 a.m.–noon
Friday November 6: 9:00-10:00 a.m.
Thursday November 19: 1:00-2:00 p.m.
All classes will feature time at the end of the session for individualized help and questions.
