The Libraries own some audiobooks; however, public libraries tend to have more robust collections. (In State College, check out the collection at Schlow Memorial Library. Their catalog has an "Audio Book Title Browse" feature -- and they have a much bigger collection!)
LionSearch
Search for a topic, author, or title, then from your results list click "more" under Content Type and check the box for Audio Recording. This will retrieve all types of audio recordings, including music, so you can try including the term "audiobooks" in your search (e.g., harry potter and audiobooks).
The CAT
To browse the Libraries' audiobooks go to the CAT and choose the 'advanced search' option.
From the "Material Type" box choose "audio material." The system doesn't differentiate between music and books-on-tape, so try using "audiobooks" in the keyword box as well. Searching for a particular author/title (if known) is another approach. Most items found in the CAT can be sent to other PSU campuses by using the "I Want It" button. Keep in mind that some older materials may actually be albums or cassettes, so make sure to take a close look at the record.
