    Created by Harvard students, SparkNotes study guides contain summaries and critical analysis (characters, themes and plots) of more than 150 works of literature, including novels, drama, and poetry. SparkNotes also includes full text of 108 classic books.
  • KnowledgeNotes Student Guides (Literature Online)
    Fulltext online study guides to 200+ classic and contemporary literary works. "KnowledgeNotes" are a special feature of the Literature Online database. To view the list of KnowledgeNotes, connect to Literature Online, click on CRITICISM AND REFERENCE (under the "Quick Search" box). In the Reference section, place a check in the "KnowledgeNotes" box in the list of Publications, and click on SEARCH.

    Literature Online is a gateway to primary texts, secondary sources, and biographical information in English and American literature.
