Office of Business Economics (1953-1972)
The Office of Business Economics was established within the Department of Commerce by Departmental Order on December 1, 1953. The Office was transferred to the Social and Economic Statistics Administration and renamed the Office of Economic Analysis (C 56.100) effective January 1, 1972.
