Economic Development Administration (1965- )
The Economic Development Administration was established within the Department of Commerce on May 8, 1961 pursuant to the Area Development Act (75 Stat. 47). The Administration was terminated on August 31, 1965 and functions transferred to the Economic Development Administration (C 46).
