Bureau of Industrial Economics (1980-1984)
Established in the Department of Commerce on January 2, 1980 pursuant to Reorganization Plan No.3 of 1979 (44 FR 69273) superseding the Bureau of Domestic Commerce (C57.500). Effective January 22, 1984, the Bureau was abolished by Secretarial Order (49 FR 4538) and its functions transferred to other units of the Department.
