Bureau of Statistics (1903-1912)
The Bureau of Statistics was established in the Department of Commerce on July 1, 1903. Consolidated the Bureau of Statistics (T 37) of the Department of Treasury and the Bureau of Foreign Commerce (S 4) of the Department of State. Consolidate again with the Bureau of Manufacturers (C 10) and the Bureau of Foreign and Domestic Commerce (C 18) by an act of Congress, August 23,1912.
