Our Materials Don't Circulate Outside the Special Collections Reading Room

Our materials are housed separately from the materials in the general stacks, because they are generally difficult or impossible to replace, such as the 15th century Hebrew bible pictured here.
To protect these materials, we do not circulate them outside the reading room. Although this can be an inconvenience to the individual researcher, it helps to ensure that our materials will be available for as many people as possible over the long term.
You can learn more about our reading room in the online photo tour at the end of this tutorial.
