Resources
The Nesbitt Library has over 35,000 books, 200 journal and newspaper subscriptions, and a small video/ DVD collection to support your studies. In addition, students have access to the over 4.5 million library materials owned by all 23 Penn State campuses The CAT is the on-line catalog of the materials in the Penn State University Libraries' collections. LIAS, the Library Information Access System, provides access to The CAT and over 350 article databases and on-line reference sources. LIAS is available to remote users via the Web. If you need help locating information, the library staff is always happy to assist.

Computing
The library has fifteen terminals for searching on-line catalogs, databases, and the Internet. The workstations are equipped with Microsoft Office software connected to a printer and scanner. Surveying software, ArcView, is installed on an enhanced workstation connected to a 11x17" color printer for specialized use.

Instruction Lab
Contains 24 computers for class instruction and a “smart” podium with a computer from which the instructor can utilize to project images or text to the overhead projector that can be viewed on a large screen at the front of the room.

Copying/Printing
A photocopy machine is available in the library. Copies are ten cents and the machine takes nickels, dimes, quarters, and one dollar bills. Printing from the library computers is free for Penn State students, staff, and faculty. Non-PSU patrons can print for five cents per page.
