Faculty recommendations for library purchases are essential for ensuring that our collections at Nesbitt Library fulfill the needs of our users and support teaching and learning here at Penn State. You know best what library materials you will use in your teaching, and you know best the scope of student assignments that require use of library materials.
We encourage you to request books and audio-visual materials that will be useful in teaching and learning. It will help you, your students, and the library. After all, the purpose of Nesbitt Library is to support teaching and learning on our campus.
Please submit your requests to me as soon as possible, keeping in mind that most orders take between 6 and 12 weeks to arrive at the library and be processed for use.
