Want one-on-one research help? Call 570-675-9261 or email emb28@psu.edu to schedule a time where we can:
  • Guide you through the entire research process using Information Literacy and You modules
  • Assist you in the use of information resources (The Catalog, Databases, Internet, etc.)
  • Get you connected with subject libraries where you need to get your project information
  • Meet with you on a periodic basis to assess progress on your project (in person or virtually)

Seminars

Did you know that you can have a librarian teach a session for your class? E-mail a request!

Our basic seminar will introduce search techniques for finding resources in The CAT, our online catalog, and in ProQuest, an article database. Other sessions can be customized to correspond with a specific course or assignment.


Online Tutorials

If you want a self-paced introduction to Penn State resources and the research process, please take a look at our online tutorials. We can help you process through these Web-based guides as well.

Interlibrary Loan


Materials from other Penn State campuses may be available through intercampus borrowing. Inquire at Lending Services in the Nesbitt Library: 570-675-9214, wilkes-barre@psulias.psu.edu .

All interlibrary loans not picked up at the Library by the indicated date will be returned to their original library.

Non-University patrons are not eligible for interlibrary loan privileges. They must consult with their own local public library about the service policies there.
