Course Reserves
Library materials (including books, videos, articles, instructor notes, sample exams, and other instructional materials) may be placed on reserve for your course while it is currently in session. Some of these materials may be eligible to be placed on electronic reserve as well. Ordering materials
To suggest additions of books or other materials for the libraries collections, contact our Librarian, Barb Eshbach at ext. 4024, or email bee11@psu.edu. Please provide the author, title, and any additional information that you have. We encourage you to browse the collection in your subject area to look for enhancement possibilities.
Interlibrary Loan
ILLiad is the interlibrary loan service. ILLiad is used for requesting articles from journals not located at the York Campus Library; books not owned by Penn State; and articles, bound journals and non-circulating items from the Libraries Annexes. ILLiad is the quickest and most direct way to order materials, and articles will usually be delivered electronically, allowing you access anywhere.
Books from Penn State Libraries that do not have to be recalled from another patron usually arrive within several days. Material requested from non-Penn State Libraries may take considerably longer to arrive. The Library website currently makes available the full text of articles from thousands of journals and magazines in many of its databases. If you are not sure where to look on the website for these, please contact Barb.
