The exhibit "What is Diversity?" was displayed in the East Corridor Gallery of Pattee Library, located on the first floor of the old connector between Central and West Pattee. It was the final exhibit housed in that space before the building housing it was torn down in mid-1997.

The exhibit was designed on behalf of the Penn State University Libraries Diversity Committee by Jeff Edmunds, and installed by Mr. Edmunds with the assistance of Lori Leatherman and John Hamilton.

Materials in the exhibit appear courtesy of the University Libraries' Education Library, Historical Collections and Labor Archives, Rare Books Room, and Microforms Section.

Special thanks to those faculty and staff members who shared their personal stories.
