DIVERSITY IS COLLECTIONS

Rev. George Dawson quote: 'A great library contains the diary of the human race.' The Mission of the Penn State

University Libraries is to

optimize organized access to

information in all formats to

advance the instructional,

research, and public service

goals of University faculty,

staff, and students, at all

locations of the University,

and of the citizens of

Pennsylvania.

To fulfill this ambitious goal, the Libraries must collect, maintain, and provide access

to an incredibly diverse array of materials. Four of the Libraries' collections are

featured here, from the Microforms Collections, the Education Library, Historical

Collections and Labor Archives, and the Rare Books Room.
