Show What You Know

This tutorial will introduce you to some basic information about Penn State Worthington Scranton's Campus Library, the Penn State University Libraries System, and the information seeking process in general that will put you on the path to information literacy.

Information literacy is the capacity to know*:

  • when you need information
  • what sort you need
  • where to find it
  • how to evaluate and organize it

When do you need information? ALWAYS. Now that we've got that answered, we'll move on to the other three points after a general orientation to the Worthington Scranton Campus Library.
