Faculty Teaching Resources
Can I place a film on course reserve for my class?
Films and videos from the Music and Media Center and from Media Technology and Support Services may be placed on course reserve.
To place a film or films on course reserve at University Park, contact Gwen Catchen in the Music and Media Center. Faculty at campuses other than University Park should contact a librarian at their campus.
Can I book viewing and projection equipment for my class?
Media Tech's Equipment Collection includes transportable viewing equipment that can be booked for classroom use. At University Park, you can also book technology classrooms that include viewing and projecting equipment for computers, VHS tapes and DVDs.
Does the Library provide rooms to view film/video?
You may reserve the Film/Video Viewing Room in the News & Microforms Library, Ground Floor West Pattee Library, to show films to your class. Please contact Debora Cheney for further information about using the Film Viewing Room for your class.
How can I work more closely with the Libraries?
We are happy to provide instructional sessions to orient your students to the Libraries' resources, and to tailor that presentation to the specific needs of your course and students. Contact your subject librarian with your needs.
