This CD-ROM allows you to search foundations electronically by location, subject area, and name. It includes grants of $10,000 or greater only. While it includes only two percent of all grant-making foundations, it claims to cover more than half of the amount of all funds granted. - Grants for Nonprofits : Social Sciences
This webpage, created by Jon Harrison at Michigan State University, provides a list of online grant sources in the social sciences for organizations. Books are also listed on this site, but remember that they are being listed with call numbers and locations for Michigan State's library.
