Instruction and Tours Policy
- Requests for Special Collections Library instructional
sessions and/or tours will be submitted to the Public Service and Outreach
Unit Head or Assistant, who will delegate those requests to the appropriate
Unit Head.
- Unit Heads will de directly responsible for determining
which members of their staff will participate in the proposed instructional
session(s) and/or tour(s).
- Staff members cannot accept instructional requests (in
or outside Special Collections) without approval of their Unit Head.
- Unit Heads will, on occasion, receive direct requests for
instructional sessions and/or tours. It is the responsibility of the Unit
head to notify Public Services as soon as possible regarding the date/s,
number of participants, and staff members handling request.
