Instruction and Tours Policy

  1. Requests for Special Collections Library instructional sessions and/or tours will be submitted to the Public Service and Outreach Unit Head or Assistant, who will delegate those requests to the appropriate Unit Head.
  2. Unit Heads will de directly responsible for determining which members of their staff will participate in the proposed instructional session(s) and/or tour(s).
  3. Staff members cannot accept instructional requests (in or outside Special Collections) without approval of their Unit Head.
  4. Unit Heads will, on occasion, receive direct requests for instructional sessions and/or tours. It is the responsibility of the Unit head to notify Public Services as soon as possible regarding the date/s, number of participants, and staff members handling request.
