If Penn State doesn't own the material you need, you can simultaneously search several regional academic library catalogs in E-ZBorrow. You can then request many of the items found there directly from the owning libraries.

E-ZBorrow is available to all current faculty, staff and students registered with the Libraries.

Please note:  E-ZBorrow currrently handles requests only for books. If you need a photocopy of an article, please request it through InterLibrary Loan.

E-Z Borrow does not currently work with IE7; please use Firefox, or an earlier version of the Internet Explorer browser for E-Z Borrow requests.

 

Fall 2006 - New Pick-up Locations
Several new pick-up locations have been added. You now can choose to have your book delivered to the Architecture, Earth and Mineral Sciences, Engineering, Physical and Math Sciences Libraries or the Dickinson School of Law. World Campus was also added for our Distance Delivery and World Campus users.

What is E-ZBorrow?
E-ZBorrow allows you to request books from the catalogs of more than 40 academic libraries throughout Pennsylvania as well as New Jersey and West Virginia. The borrowing period is four weeks with one renewal.

Who can use E-ZBorrow?
Current Penn State faculty, staff and students may request books through E-ZBorrow.

How can I access E-ZBorrow?
Enter your Penn State User Access ID followed by your password in the boxes provided above.

When and where can I pick up my requests?
E-ZBorrow sends an email when your materials arrive. You choose your pickup location upon placing requests.

Can I use E-ZBorrow to obtain journal articles and other materials?
Currently, you cannot obtain journal articles using E-ZBorrow. See InterLibrary Loan for more information on how to access journal articles and other materials not available through E-ZBorrow.
