To determine if an item should be referred to CAST for ordering please review the following guidelines. The order should be referred to CAST if:
- Published by a publisher restricted by Blackwell
- Rush or Rush Campus-Ship
- Prepayment is required
- Non-print format
- Title with multiple volumes/parts
- Free item
- Loose leaf law Title
- Pennsylvania State Government Publication
- Sale item discounted 30% or more off retail price
Orders that you have determined meet one or more of the above criteria should be submitted to CAST for placement via one of the submission methods outlined below. All other orders may be placed on Collection Manager by the campus. Orders to CAST may be submitted in any of the following ways:
Printouts from on-line databases
Publisher announcements/blurbs

CAST Monographic Order Form
All orders submitted to CAST should include the following information:
- Title, Author, Publisher, Date
- Edition
- Fund ID
- List price (Use $30.00 as an estimate if price is not known)
- Campus Name and Home Location Code
- Program and Diversity Codes
- Annotate any special instructions or processing notes in red (i.e.RUSH)
