Team Responsibilities

• Develop or identify optimal metadata schemas for digital projects, and implement them as necessary
• Create a workflow for metadata creation
• Represent the interests of the Metadata Team and the Cataloging and Metadata Services department in discussions related to digitization and preservation within the Libraries
• Consult with Libraries faculty and staff in charge of various digital projects where it regards metadata needs and practices
