OCLC Holdings Deletions
When the last copy of an item is withdrawn from the Libraries by changing the Home Location to WITHDRAWN, search the title in OCLC and delete PSU holdings, if present. To do this:

  1. Login to OCLC in FULL MODE via the Connexion client.

  2. Locate the desired record in OCLC's database.
"Held by UPM" should appear at the top of the record, indicating that PSU holds the item. Be sure to verify the ISBNs/dates/publishers, etc. before deleting PSU holdings from OCLC.

  3. Delete PSU holdings by clicking the ActionDeleteHoldings icon in the toolbar or by choosing Delete Holdings from the Action menu.

NOTE:
Some records (particularly older ones) do not have our holdings linked to the OCLC record, in which case no further action needs to be taken.
