Borrower's
Responsibilities
- Borrowers
will abide by the University Libraries' policies
- Borrowers
are responsible for books issued under their ID#
- Borrowers
should become familiar with the University Libraries' Lending Code

should keep their address current in both in " "My
Library Account" and in "ILLiad"
- Borrowers
are responsible for returning material to the Interlibrary Loan office
at University Park before the due date.

can be requested?
- Books
owned by Penn State (This includes books at all campus locations)
- Articles
from journals owned by Penn State
- Books
and journal articles not owned by Penn State
How long can I keep books (loans)?
Books Owned
by Penn State - semester loan with 2 renewals
Books Not
Owned by Penn State borrowed through E-ZBorrow - 4 week loan with 1 renewal
Books Not
Owned by Penn State borrowed through ILLiad - Loan period varies depending
upon Lending Library; usually 4 to 8 weeks loan period
All books are subject
to recall
How
will items be delivered?
- Books
will be sent via UPS or US Mail to the address in your ILLiad profile.
- You are responsible for returning them to the Interlibrary Loan office
at University Park. You can return them via UPS or US Mail to the address below. You also can return the books to any Penn State University Libraries campus or branch library circulation desk.

What is ILLiad?
What items cannot be supplied by our delivery
service?
- Non-circulating
items, such as reference, rare books, microfilm, special collections,
periodical volumes, and reserve items. You will need to come to the
library to use these materials.
