To provide formal and informal mechanisms of communication and information exchange regarding current research, developments, tools, and activities affecting networked information resources and metadata within the Networked Resources and Metadata Committee and sharing such information with the ALCTS membership through the Committee website and other appropriate channels. The Subcommittee also seeks to explore appropriate liaisons and information sharing opportunities with other ALA committees concerned with networked resources and metadata.
