Materials not owned by Penn State at University Park or any of the campuses may
by obtained from a variety of sources:
E-ZBorrow(PALCI), or the Pennsylvania Academic Libraries Consortium, Inc. represents more than thirty major college and university libraries throughout the Commonwealth.
Materials may be ordered from any of these institutions through E-ZBorrow(PALCI) by connecting through these links or choosing E-ZBorrow(PALCI) from the Libraries' E-Resource List. The catalogs of all participating institutions may be searched simultaneously, and delivery of materials to your library may be expected within approximately four to five days. E-ZBorrow(PALCI) items generally must be returned within eight weeks. There are no paper forms, and any student, faculty or staff member is eligible for this service.
WorldCAT includes over 38 million records for books, periodicals, magazines, and
any other type of material cataloged by OCLC member libraries. The database
includes records for material as early as the 11th century.
Materials may be requested from WorldCat by connecting through these links or choosing WorldCat from the Libraries' E-Resource List. Delivery to your library may be expected within two to three weeks.
Interlibrary Loan service is available to all Penn State faculty, staff and students seeking materials not currently owned by the University.
Requests for Interlibrary Loan materials may be submitted online through these links. Interlibrary Loan materials are subject to the policies of the lending institutions, and so loan periods and renewals may vary. Delivery to your library may be expected within two to three weeks of submitting a request.
