Description:
Notes on the division of the sciences in Lockes hand.
Marked l.4.c.23 20 21 20 but not used as the basis for the final text;
they may therefore date from an earlier stage in the development of the Essay.
The manuscript consists of a single sheet of paper folded once to form 4 pages, 156 × 92 mm.

Description:
Notes on midwifery, in Lockes hand, on four loose sheets of paper, numbered 1-7 (f. 98v blank).
The notes have been placed with Lockes advice and notes relating to the pregnancies of Mrs Fletcher
in the summer of 1695 (ff. 92-94) and winter of 1701 (ff. 99-101).
The notes appear to be on the same paper as the former and therefore probably date sometime soon after July 1695.
