Locke’s ledger, 1701-1704. A bound volume, marked “Old Acc^ts from 1700 to 1704” in the hand of Peter King. There is an alphabetical index of names and other account headings (p. ii-xxiii). After Locke’s death, Peter King turned the book around and began entering accounts at the back of the volume (pp. 339-338 rev.). The accounts are laid out and cross-referenced in the same manner as those in MS. Locke c. 1.
