A bound volume used by Locke for notes on medical books, c. 1659-1660. The latest date of publication quoted is 1656. There is a list of the titles annotated on p. 265. There are two indexes: an alphabetical index of headings covering pp. 1-29 (pp. 253-262) and an index according to Locke’s method of commonplacing, covering pp. 174-246 (pp. 250-251). The volume is in very bad condition, with many leaves damaged and fragments of paper torn away.
