Finding Your List

Tips for Searching

1. Go to the Libraries' homepage at http://www.libraries.psu.edu/ and click on the link to The Cat.
2. In The Cat, click on the blue Course Reserves button available on any screen
3. At the Course Reserves Search Screen, search for your reserve materials by Instructor Name, Course Name, or Course Number
4. Click on Detail for any item for location information, or click on the link to view online reserve materials

Instructor Name: Key in your instructor's Last Name (or Last Name, First Name)

Course Number: Key in the course number exactly as found in the University Course Listings or "Blue Book". This includes spacing and numbering

Examples: ENGL 015 (not ENGL 15), ADM J 024 (not ADMJ 24), HI ED 005 (not HIED 5)

Course Name: Key in the course name as found in the University Course Listings

Remember:
Reserve lists display 20 items per page and number 1 - 20 on each page displayed. For lists with more than 20 items, click on the Next button for the next page of reserve items. Item 20 on the previous page will reappear as item 1 on the next page
