AgNIC Resources at Penn State

The Agriculture Network Information Center (AgNIC) is a voluntary alliance of the National Agricultural Library (NAL), land-grant universities and other agricultural organizations, in cooperation with citizen groups and government agencies, the purpose of which is to provide agricultural information in electronic format.

Penn State's contributions are:

Turfgrass provides access to information related to home lawn care, sports fields & golf courses, turfgrass species, diseases, pests, and weeds as well as general turfgrass information.

Youth Development The focus of the site is youth and youth development for 4-H and other agriculturally oriented youth programs.

Home Gardening provides access to information on vegetable and flower gardening for the home.
