Penn State Libraries: York Campus Library: Lee R. Glatfelter Bio

Lee R. Glatfelter (1927-1996) was a volunteer and a leader in several York area community organizations, serving as director of both the York County Easter Seals board and the Planned Parenthood board. The library is named in her honor through a generous gift to the campus by her husband, Arthur J. Glatfelter. This donation established the Lee R. Glatfelter endowment for Project Connections, a partnership program of Penn State York and the York City School District that encourages interest and participation of community youth in the fields of science and business.
